AAUW’s Mission
The American Association of University Women advances equity for all women and girls through advocacy, education and research.. The AAUW offers scholarships, action for gender equity, and support for personal and professional growth, community leadership, and friendship.

AAUW in Our City
Members enjoy the opportunity to meet other professional women in our regular meetings and social gatherings geared toward their special interests.  Our monthly meetings feature speakers discussing current events and women's issues, as well as delicious meals.

Education
AAUW is dedicated to education and with this as our primary focus, we offer annual collegiate scholarships. We also contribute to the Education Foundation, which supports graduate students and funds national research studies.

AAUW History
Since 1881, AAUW has been the nation’s leading voice promoting education and equity for women and girls. We have a nationwide network of nearly 100,000 members, 1,000 branches, and 500 college/university institution partners. The national organization has also been active with International Federation of University Women (IFUW) with members in 67 countries around the world. At state, national and international levels, AAUW values and seeks members of every race, creed, age, national origin, sexual orientation, and level of physical ability.
