Membership Information
Membership Eligibility
Any individual, regardless of gender, holding an Associate or equivalent, Baccalaureate or higher degree from a qualified educational institution, a degree from a foreign institution recognized by the International Federation of University Women (IFUW), or a foreign degree acceptable as a basis for admission by graduate schools at qualified universities of the USA who have paid dues (association + state + branch dues). Membership is paid annually and runs from July 1st through June 30th.
Also eligible for AAUW membership are 2-year Associate degrees from a community, junior and/or business colleges and 2- and 3-year RN diplomas.
Student affiliate memberships are available to undergraduate students enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university.
AAUW is a non-profit organization. To be a member through the Spokane AAUW Branch, the cost is $70.00. A Student Affiliate�s cost is $27.00. These dues are current for the 2009-10 year.
